The Badlit script is an abugida descended from the ancient Brahmi script of India that was used to write Bisaya/Visayan languages, which are mainly spoken in the Visayas region of the Philippines, including Cebuano (Binisaya) and Hiligaynon. The Badlit script is also known as the Bisaya script, the Visayan script, sulat Bisaya or Suwat Bisaya.
