The Badlit script in this design says, “I’m not Filipino for nothing.”

Beside it stands a Pintado dancer, inspired by the tattooed warriors and nobles of the Visayas. Spanish colonizers called them pintados, or “the painted ones,” because of the bold tattoos that covered their bodies. But these marks were more than decoration. They showed strength, courage, honor, and identity.

Together, the figure and the script speak of people who wore their culture with pride. Their stories, beliefs, and bravery were written on their skin. This T-Shirt design carries that same spirit.
